365 Days – A Photographic Journey

Well.. I’ll start by saying – today’s picture if another from the ‘Duckie’ set. With all my appointments I haven’t found the time to grab the camera and take some new photos… but that’s ok, I have literally hundreds that I have not posted anywhere.

This one is another ‘Curious Duckie’.. taken before the infamous ‘Stinkeye’ photo I love so much. She is such a card. I am, however, starting to worry about my little feathery friends.. The weather has been so unkind. They have a pretty nice coop.. I mean, like everything around this house – it’s old… but surprising sturdy. Hubby has blocked many of the holes here and there.. but I am worried too much wind may be getting to them at night. I’ve noticed their combs and wattles aren’t as bright red as they were during the summer months. I’ll make a note to buy some plastic and put it on the outside of the coop walls to shield them a little bit.
